Teckel Police Training Solutions, Research, and Consulting was founded in 2020 by Dr. Marionna Mendiola. While previously offering specialized, psychologically based police training, we now focus on analyzing law enforcement critical incidents within the framework of police officer self-regulation and police stress. We are considered experts in those two fields, critical components of a police officer's mental well-being.

The Dachshund inspired our company name, Dr. Mendiola's favorite dog breed (she is considered a Dachshund aficionado). Dachshund, in German, means dachs (badger), hund (dog), or Teckel; hence, our company name and logo.
